About us
Our story
Cognassist was created with one idea in mind: to ensure cognitive diversity is embraced, every day. We believe our diversity is our greatest asset.

A personal story, scaled
It started with one cognitive assessment
While studying at university, founder Chris Quickfall was diagnosed with dyslexia. Completing a cognitive assessment was genuinely transformative — it gave him a framework to understand how he thinks and learns.
Growing up, no one was talking about neurodiversity, and Chris had to work out his own coping strategies. With a new understanding of his cognition, he built the strategies that helped him thrive — and went on to scale that same insight to hundreds of thousands of people. His story has since been featured by BBC News.
“Everyone deserves the opportunity to understand this vital part of who they are, and to work in an environment that helps them thrive — at every level of education and work.”

Our mission
Helping every diverse mind thrive
From the classroom to the workplace, our mission runs through everything we build.
In education
No learner left behind
We're on a mission to make sure no learner is left behind — building more inclusive learning environments through a deep understanding of every learner's cognition.
In the workplace
Our ambition at work
We help organisations support every employee to develop and thrive — embracing cognitive diversity by helping people understand how they think and how they process.
Our vision
Learning 2.0
We imagine a future where understanding how each person thinks is built into education and work from the very start:
- Everyone receives a digital cognitive assessment at induction
- Leaders are trained to understand and support neurodiversity
- Reasonable adjustments are in place from day one
- Digital resources adapt to individual cognitive strengths
- Collaborative learning strategies are refined over time
We're on a mission to make sure no one is left behind — and that every diverse mind can thrive.
